The AIDES initiative is implemented in four territories defined by the administrative jurisdictions of their respective CSSSs. One of these territories is located within the City of Montréal (CSSS d’Ahuntsic et Montréal-Nord), while the other three are located in the Mauricie et Centre-du-Québec region (CSSS de l’Énergie, CSSS de Drummond, and CSSS Arthabaska-Érable).

The four territories were selected based on their record in terms of concerted action and community mobilization leading to numerous successful partnerships. They also strongly support the AIDES initiative and view it as a lever for 1) helping to provide the necessary conditions for the safety and development of at risk children and those who are victims of abuse and neglect, and 2) ensuring the establishment of harmonious and effective practices among the various organizations.
