The AIDES initiative aims to:

• ensure the safety of children, encourage their optimum development, and contribute to their future;

• provide support to parents or parental substitutes in the exercise of their parental responsibilities;

• encourage the participation and collaboration of parents throughout the intervention process and in decisions regarding their children and families;

• promote a climate of cooperation that overcomes the barriers between practices so that the latter become more complementary and cohesive, and that improves the coordination and integration of interventions and services.
